Sierra College
Allison Jones is an assistant professor of Earth Science at Sierra College, a two-year college in Northern California. She is passionate about innovative geoscience education and leveraging technology to increase student learning. Her most recent work includes leading a collaboration across nine California community colleges to produce an open educational resource (OER) textbook for California Geology courses which will become publicly and freely available online on LibreTexts in early fall 2024.
